YOU'RE LITERALLY SIGNING UP TO MAKE HISTORY!
Just kidding. CATastrophe2 is 1/2 a coding experiement and 1/2 a psychology experiment.
What do I mean by that?
The last time I was "serious" about playing video games was back in the N64 / Gameboy Color days and I just started coding for-real, for-real about six months ago... Creating this game started out as a simple coding exercise that I thought was going to be a weekend project...
But it's developed into an entire universe as well as a personal quest to find out what makes a good game? Is it the fancy graphics and huge teams of experienced professionals? Or can it be accomplished by one beginner game dev who doesn't even play games but runs on sheer determination?
Note: I'm not trying to design the next Red Dead Redemption or anything that complex, here. My goal is to create a short, engaging game that can be beaten in less than a day... Similar to the pacing of StarFox 64.
And I need YOU to help me do that!
So thanks for signing up to test. Once the test version of the game is live, I'll send over the link for the game as well as my feedback survey!
Thanks again for helping make CATastrophe2 purr-fect! πΎ
