Software from mkb0020 Studios is built around a simple idea: your data belongs to you.
Overview
This Privacy Policy applies to desktop applications published by mkb0020 Studios, unless an application provides its own separate privacy policy.
Our goal is to build software that is fast, local-first, and respectful of your privacy.
Information We Collect
Most mkb0020 Studios applications do not collect:
- Personal information
- User accounts
- Analytics or tracking data
- Advertising identifiers
- Location data
The one exception is our optional support payments (see the Payments section below) -- if you choose to support a project financially, we store your email address and payment amount for our own records.
Local Storage
Most application data is stored locally on your own computer. Unless an app explicitly tells you otherwise, your files remain on your device and are not uploaded to mkb0020 Studios.
Internet Connections
Some applications may optionally connect to the internet for features such as:
- Downloading updates
- Opening documentation
- Opening GitHub or project websites
- Checking for new releases
These connections are limited to the features you choose to use.
Payments
If you choose to support development through our optional "Support this project" feature, payments are securely processed by Stripe. mkb0020 Studios never receives or stores your payment card information.
When a support payment completes, we store the app you supported, the amount, and the email address provided at checkout, for our own record-keeping. This information is not sold, shared with advertisers, or used for marketing.
Third-Party Services
Depending on the application, services may include:
- Microsoft Store
- Stripe
- GitHub
- Vercel
Each service has its own privacy practices.
Children's Privacy
mkb0020 Studios applications are not directed at children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Your Rights
If we hold your email address from a support payment and you'd like it deleted, contact us using the information below and we'll remove it.
Changes
This Privacy Policy may be updated as new applications and features are released. The latest version will always be available on this page.
